Tips for your stay à La Garangeoire campsite with your animal :
Before leaving :
Do not forget to declare your pet at the time of booking, please note that your animals are accepted in almost all of our accommodation and they, like you can enjoy the public areas such as the restaurant and the bar.
For the pitch bookings, remember to tell us your sites preferences such as a shaded pitch to avoid heatstroke. Do not forget your pet’s favorite accessories, leach, collar, bowl and games, for a “sweet home” feeling.
During the stay in Vendee :
At the arrival, thank you for coming to reception, we ask that your dogs and cats be tattooed, vaccinated, kept on a leash and that you have in your possession all the documents necessary for its identification.
The rabies vaccination certificate must be submitted before any check-in.
For UK Citizens, make sure your pet is accompanied by a health certificate issued by an official veterinarian in the UK.
During the check-in, do not hesitate to ask us a refreshment for your animal following the journey which may seem a bit long for him.
After receiving your welcome kit with treats and surprises, your holiday can begin with serenity !

Accessible beaches
Your animals can come with you for your beaches outings, here are some areas that allow dogs kept on a leash, only swimming is not allowed.
☼ BRÉTIGNOLLES-SUR-MER
La plage du Petit Pont, is situated between Brétignolles and Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie, totally wild, its size make it easy to find a parking space even in high season. Unattended swimming area.
Les Criques de la Sauzaie, the sandy coves are accessible only at low tide.
☼ BREM SUR MER
La plage des Granges,located 1 km south of Brem sur Mer, south of the DUNES 2 beach. Unattended swimming area.
☼ OLONNE SUR MER
La plage de Sauveterre. Unattended swimming area.
☼ ST-HILAIRE-DE-RIEZ
With 10 km of fine sand and 3 km of rocky shores, Saint-Hilaire-de-Riez beaches allow dogs kept on a leash, out of season at any time outside the supervised swimming area.
Between June and September, dogs are allowed before 9:00 am and after 7:00 pm.

For those who need to wash their dog after walks, a dog-shower is available in one of the 4 sanitary blocks.
Leisure activities
Within the campsite, many foot paths will delight your pets, around 200 hectares of unspoiled nature and 4 private ponds : perfect for a dog-walk.
When the heat is high, go for the forest paths, near a pond : it is cooler.
Tips for a successful dog-walk :
Bring leash, collar, treats and games, handy poop bags and a comfortable outfit.
During the season, an guide / instructor will propose collective dog-walks as well as animations for your animals and yourself (subject to availabilities).
Do not hesitate to refer to reception team, they will be delighted to advice you on the campsite paths but also on the best walks to do around La Garangeoire, especially near to the Jaunay lake.
