Some enjoy a good book in the shade of an oak tree, while others, whatever their age, are enthralled by the many activities on the campsite.
Whatever your mood, there is plenty for everyone….
La Garangeoire is a family campsite par excellence, but also welcomes many couples and people without children. Their presence is sought-after and brings balance and harmony to the campsite’s atmosphere.
Tournaments
Every week we organise:
- Table tennis tournaments,
- Petanque tournaments,
- Soccer tournaments.
All tournaments end with a celebratory drink and an award ceremony.
Cycling
Explore the trails with your family
In July and August there are 2 organized cycling trips every week.
An easy one, which is, available for children from the age of 8 years, the other one is more suitable to advanced bikers from 16 years old.
You can rent bikes for these cycling tours for 5€.
Family Olympics
Every 15 days, the great moment for the whole family!
What a joy for children to see their mother win the cafe waiters race and how much fun it is to beat their father at the sack race!
Sports activities
Animations around sports
Football, ultimate (flying disc), handball, jogging, cricket, basketball, touch rugby … So you can see; we are NOT limited by lack of space NOR by the lack of ideas!
Canvas painting
Get started with painting on canvas, with art painter Sylvie. This is a creative and friendly workshop.

French/English lessons for adults
Every week, we offer for our foreign guests a basic French lesson. French speakers can take this opportunity to learn their first words in English.
Crossing the lake
2 or 3 times per season, we invite you to participate in our specialty: “crossing the lake”. This race takes place on the big lake. Be the captain of the most surprising “boat”creations. A classic of La Garangeoire, but turns every time into a big success.
Orienteering
Discover the estate of La Garangeoire and its beautiful nature by looking for marked way points scattered around the site, with the help of a route map.
A fun and sporty adventure full of riddles and questions on the theme of animals and biodiversity!
Land’Art :
Works of art in the great outdoors
Get creative by creating visual artworks using natural materials found during a walk on the Garangeoire property. An easy environmental activity the whole family will love.
